Klassy Kitchen

We are located at Kothrud, right by Parihar Chowk on D P Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and people walking around. Our shop is where we keep all the kitchen stuff, from big pots to small spoons. It is a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves for people to see. We spend a lot of time showing people how a particular stove works or helping them find a lid that fits their old pan. The noise from D P Road is constant, so we are used to shouting over the traffic. We have been here for a long time and have seen many other shops come and go. Our floor is tiled but has some cracks from where heavy items were dropped over the years. We don't have a fancy display window, just the products stacked up near the entrance. In the afternoons, when it is quiet, we sit and sharpen some knives or fix the handles on pressure cookers. It is a practical business for us. We don't use any fancy language to talk about what we sell. It is just stuff for people to cook their food in every day. The tea guy comes twice a day and we usually take a break then. We like being in Kothrud because the people are sensible. We just give them the price and they decide.
