Our place is over in Baner, inside Shivam Appt at Someshwar Wadi. Baner has changed so much over the last ten years, going from a quiet suburb to a place full of big offices and restaurants. We are still in a more traditional apartment setup though. It’s a bit more relaxed than being on the main high street. Most of our mornings involve checking the site reports and making sure we have enough supplies for the current projects. Being in Someshwar Wadi gives us a bit of a break from the heavy traffic on the main Baner road. The office is just a regular room with some desks and a lot of rolled-up blueprints in the corners. We’ve lived and worked in Pune for a long time, so we’ve seen how the buildings here have gone up one by one. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes things don’t go according to plan, like when the weather turns or a delivery is late. We don’t try to act like a giant corporation. We are just local builders who know the area well. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors or talk to the security guard about the local news. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We just come in, do our work, and head home like everyone else in the building. It’s a simple routine that works for us.
