Kitchen Mate

Kitchen Mate is tucked away in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate, specifically around Sriramegowda, Chamaraj Pet 131/B. Being in an industrial area means it’s never really quiet. There is always a truck backing up or a machine humming nearby. We spend our days surrounded by stainless steel and various kitchen parts. It’s a practical space. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few notes scribbled on the bricks. The air in Hadapsar can get a bit heavy with the smell of metal and grease from the neighboring units. We’ve been at 131/B for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much. We start early, get the machines warmed up, and start putting things together. It’s not glamorous work. Sometimes the orders pile up and we have to stay late, eating our tiffin quickly while sitting on a crate. We aren't some big brand you see on TV. We’re just Kitchen Mate, making sure the stuff we build actually works when it gets to someone’s house or restaurant. The floor is concrete and hard on the feet, but we’ve got used to it over the years. Chamaraj Pet is a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around, but we like our little corner of the estate. It gets the job done and keeps us busy. We don't ask for much more than that in our daily routine.
