Kitchen 9

You can find Kitchen 9 over on Baner Road. We are in the Bhayashree Building, specifically units 1 and 2 at Silver Old Park. It’s right near Hotel Green Park, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Our kitchen is usually a bit of a mess during the lunch rush, but that’s a good sign. We started this because we just liked to cook and wanted a place of our own. It’s not a fancy restaurant with white tablecloths. It’s more of a practical place where we focus on the food and not the decorations. We spend a lot of time talking to the vegetable vendors and making sure we get the fresh stuff every morning. The traffic on Baner Road can be a nightmare, so we usually get here early to beat the crowds. Sometimes we try out new things in the kitchen just to see if they taste good. If they don't, we don't serve them. It’s pretty simple. We have a small team, and we all do a bit of everything, from washing dishes to chopping onions. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure people leave with a full stomach. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’d rather spend that time in the kitchen.
