Kishor Developr

Our small office for Kishor Developr is right at 146 Shivaji Chowk in the Kothrud area of Pune. It’s an old part of town and can get incredibly crowded, especially during the festivals when the whole chowk is full of people. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and it’s a simple setup. There’s a main desk where I sit and a couple of chairs for guests. We deal with various property developments and local construction projects around this side of the city. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to keep our ledgers and some old blueprints that have started to yellow at the edges. Most of our day involves meeting with landowners or checking on the progress of our current sites nearby. Kothrud has changed so much, with new shops and apartments going up everywhere, so it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit outside on the steps and chat with the shopkeepers next door until the power comes back. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we know most of the people who live around Shivaji Chowk by name. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing; we just focus on finishing the work we started. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but seeing a project finally get done makes the long hours at the desk worth it.
