Kishor Builders, Pune.

Operating out of Ayodhya Apartment on Sinhagad Road has been our base for a long time. It’s a flat, number 14 to be exact, so it doesn't feel like a typical office building. We’ve got Kishor Builders, Pune running from here, and usually, the dining table is covered in blueprints and site maps for the work happening over in Vadgaon Bk. The traffic on Sinhagad Road can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home, so we try to get our site visits done early in the morning. Building houses in Pune has changed a lot since we started, with more regulations and different materials coming into play every year. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on the cement and steel deliveries. It’s dusty work and my shoes are always covered in mud from the construction sites. Back at the flat, it’s a bit calmer, though the phone rings quite a bit with people asking about when the next phase of a project will be finished. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that, just a small crew of us trying to get the buildings up properly. Sometimes we sit on the balcony to have a break and look at how much the neighborhood has grown over the last decade. It’s a lot of responsibility making sure everything is structurally sound and on schedule.
