You can find us at the Hadapsar Industrial Estate in Pune. Kirloskar Pneumatic has been a fixture here for a long time. Our buildings aren't much to look at from the outside, just the usual industrial blocks you see in this part of the city. But inside, we are busy with air compressors and refrigeration systems. It’s a noisy environment most of the time. The sound of testing and the clank of metal is just part of the background noise we live with. We don’t use a lot of marketing fluff here. We’d rather talk about the actual mechanics of a pump or how a valve is holding up under pressure. Our desks are usually covered in blueprints and half-drunk cups of tea. The people working here have a lot of experience. Some have been walking these same floors for twenty or thirty years. We’ve seen the estate change around us as the city grew. We aren't a startup with bean bags and free snacks. We are a traditional workshop where the focus is on getting the pressure right. If a machine has an issue, we pull the manual and get the tools. We don’t overcomplicate things. It’s about making sure the equipment does what it’s supposed to do for the person who bought it. We just keep our heads down, stay focused on the tasks on our clipboards, and finish the day’s work. It’s honest, steady work.
