Being out here in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate means we are right in the middle of all the noise and activity. Kirloskar Pheumatics. Co. Ltd. has been part of this landscape for quite some time. If you know this area, you know it’s all about the factories and the trucks moving in and out all day long. Our spot is pretty basic, just what you’d expect from an industrial setup. There’s always dust in the air and the sound of machines somewhere in the distance. We deal with pneumatic tools and systems, which isn’t the kind of thing you talk about at a dinner party, but it’s what keeps the bigger factories running. The guys here have been working with this equipment for years, so they know the quirks of the machines. It’s not a quiet job. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or checking on stock in the warehouse area. Sometimes the rain makes the roads around the estate a bit of a mess, but we still show up and get the crates moved. It’s a practical place for practical work. No one wears a suit unless there’s a very specific reason. We just focus on the air systems and making sure the parts are where they need to be when the floor managers call. It’s steady work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, just people who understand the equipment.
