You can find us at Vasant Vihar, specifically Flat No-8. We are right near Santosh Hall in the Anandnagar area of Pune. Sinhagad Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the street, but once you get inside the building, it’s a bit quieter. Working out of a flat is pretty common for us. It gives the office a different feel than a factory. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things for Kirloskar Brothers here. C. D. Ranade and the rest of the group stay busy with the local accounts. Pune is a big city, but our corner of it feels like a neighborhood. We have our routine. Open the shutters, start the computers, and see what the day brings. Usually, it’s a lot of coordination between the plants and the customers. We don’t do big advertisements. Most people find us because they’ve been using these pumps for years. We talk about the weather and the traffic just as much as we talk about industrial equipment. It’s an honest way to spend the day. The space is a bit cramped with all the manuals and spare parts we keep around, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical setup for a practical business. We’re just regular folks trying to make sure the work gets done right. If you stop by, you'll probably see us with a cup of tea, looking over some technical drawings or some old invoices.
