Kiran Auto Service

Kiran Auto Service is located at Hingane Khurd Rajmahal Road 7. It is a straightforward garage where we spend most of our time under the hoods of cars or working on bike engines. The floor is stained with oil from years of work, and no matter how much I scrub it, those marks don't really go away. Rajmahal Road is always busy with people commuting, so we hear the sound of traffic from morning until night. I keep my tools on a rolling cart so I can move them around easily. There is a constant sound of wrenches clanking and the air compressor kicking in every few minutes. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, so I keep a big pedestal fan running in the corner to move the air around. Customers usually drop their vehicles off and walk over to the nearby shops while I get to work. I have a small stool near the entrance where I sit to take phone calls or write out receipts for the day. Hingane Khurd is a good area, and we have many people who have been coming to this same spot for years. It is not a quiet job, and my clothes usually end up pretty dirty by the end of the shift, but I like working with my hands. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to get everything finished before it gets dark.
