Our office is Row House 78 in Konark Nagar, Viman Nagar. Being in Pune, we’re right in the middle of a lot of growth, but our little row house feels a bit more tucked away. We’ve been here at the 411014 address for quite a while now. It’s where we handle the movement technologies and elevator business. The house itself is a two-story building. We use the ground floor for the main office and the upper floor for storage and a small break room. It’s a casual environment. Most of us wear jeans and t-shirts to work. We have a small backyard where we sometimes have our lunch if the weather isn’t too hot. The street outside is usually quiet, except for the occasional delivery truck. We don’t have any big signs out front, just a small plaque near the doorbell. Inside, it’s a bit of a mess of papers and drawings, but we have our own way of organizing things that seems to work. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we all look out for each other. It’s a nice, honest way to run a company. We focus on the technical details and don’t spend any time on fancy presentations or marketing talk. We just do the work that needs doing and go home. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, which is our biggest disaster, but we manage somehow.
