Kharafi Icom Company For Trading & Industry, W.L.L (Kuwait) is the full name, but here in Pune, we are based at B 7/2 Tatya Tope Society. It is right across from Shivarkar Garden in the Wanowriegaon area. It’s a nice enough spot, though the parking is always a bit of a nightmare when the garden is busy. Our office is inside the residential society, so it feels more like a home than a corporate building. We do a lot of trading and industrial supply work, often connecting things between here and Kuwait. It involves a lot of paperwork and even more phone calls at odd hours because of the time difference. We have stacks of shipping documents and samples of products lying around on almost every surface. It’s a small operation on this side, just a few of us handling the local logistics and talking to clients. We don't have a big flashy showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they usually just come over and we show them the catalogs over a cup of tea. Being near the garden is good for a quick walk when the office gets too cramped with boxes. We just keep our heads down and handle the shipments and the local sales. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers match up. We are just a regular part of the Wanowrie community and have been for years.
