We are located at Gold Plaza on the Kharadi Hadapsar Bypass Road. It’s a busy road with a lot of cars zooming past all the time. Our place has a few sofas and some bed frames set up so people can see them. We also have a lot of catalogs and wood samples sitting on the main desk. It’s usually a bit messy with tape measures and fabric swatches lying around. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their homes and what might fit in their living rooms. Sometimes we have to go out to a site to take measurements, so the shop might be empty for an hour or two. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know about wood and upholstery. The lighting in the back isn't great, but we do most of the assembly work there. We have a lot of foam and fabric scraps in the corner. It’s not a high-end gallery. It’s a working shop where things get built and fixed. We try to keep the dust off the finished pieces, but with the road right there, it’s a constant battle. We use a lot of glue and staples. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the orders, but we eventually get through the pile. It’s just how it goes when you’re doing this kind of work. We usually have sawdust on our shoes when we leave for the day.
