Kothari Glass Ply

We are located at S. No. 43/1 along the Kharadi Bypass on the Pune Nagar Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks. We sell glass and plywood, mostly for home construction and renovations. The shop is more like a big shed where we store the large sheets of ply and the glass panes. You have to be careful walking around inside because things are heavy and edges can be sharp. We’ve been here for a long time. My uncle started this business, and I’ve been working here since I was a teenager. We don't have a fancy display area. We just lean the samples against the wall so people can see the thickness and the finish. Most of our customers are local contractors or people living nearby who are fixing up their houses. We do the cutting right here in the back. It makes a lot of noise, but that’s just how it is. We have a small truck for deliveries, but it breaks down more often than we’d like. On hot days, we sit near the back where there’s a bit of a breeze. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just want to sell good material and make enough to keep the lights on here at Kothari Glass Ply.
