Our small workshop is located at B 4 in the Bhosari area, over near Odhav. It is a typical industrial spot with a lot of noise and activity throughout the day. We spend most of our time working on dies and various types of tools for local manufacturing. It’s greasy work, and I usually go home with oil stains on my clothes. The shop floor is crowded with lathes and milling machines that have seen a lot of use. We have been in this same spot for several years now. The neighborhood is full of other small workshops, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal. We don't have a big team here, just a few guys who know how to handle the machines properly. It is definitely not a shiny or polished place. There is a small desk in the corner for paperwork, but it’s mostly covered in old blueprints and spare parts we haven't put away yet. Customers stop by to check on their orders or bring in a part that needs a bit of fixing. We just take everything one day at a time. Sometimes the material delivery is late, which can be frustrating, but we always find a way to catch up. We don’t use any fancy software to manage our business; a simple handwritten notebook works just fine for us. It gets a bit dusty inside because of the grinding, but that is just part of the job.
