Kerala Ayurved Chikitsalayam is tucked away in the Sneh Co-Operative Housing Society. Specifically, we are in unit 21/302. If you find the IDBI Bank across the street in Navi Peth, you’re basically there. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, which suits what we do. We work with Ayurvedic practices and traditional oils. It smells like herbs and sandalwood most days inside. It’s not a big hospital, just a local spot where people come when they need a bit of a check-up or some traditional advice. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit cramped if three people show up at once, but we make do with the chairs we have. We’ve been in Lokamanmayangar for years. The neighbors know us as the place that does the old-school treatments. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routines. We spend a lot of time prepping the mixtures and talking to folks about their aches and pains. It’s simple work, really. The traffic on the main road can be a bit loud during rush hour, but inside it stays pretty calm. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to remember everyone's name who walks through the door. It’s just how things are done here in Navi Peth. We don't need a website or anything too modern to keep the doors open. We just like things to be quiet and effective for the people who come to see us. It’s a slow pace but it works.
