Swaraj Traders

Swaraj Traders is located in Kavalapur right near the new water tank on High School Road. You can’t really miss the building if you are coming down that way. It is a landmark for most of the people who live around here. Our days usually start pretty early. We pull up the shutters and start checking what we have left in the inventory. There is always some heavy lifting to do, moving bags or boxes and carrying them out to people’s vehicles. The road gets quite busy when the school nearby starts in the morning and lets out in the afternoon, so we try to get our big deliveries finished before then. We carry a whole mix of different supplies in the shop. Depending on the day, it might smell like grain or sometimes more like metal and hardware. We do not use any fancy computer systems for our work, mostly just some old notebooks and pens to keep track of things. If you walk by during the slow hours, you might see us sitting on the bench outside for a bit of air. Kavalapur is a nice enough place to work, even if the wind blows a lot of dust around the water tank area. We just keep our heads down and help whoever walks through the door. It is a simple business and we like it that way. We do not need much more than our regular customers and a good day of work.
