Astrum Packtech

Astrum Packtech is located over in the Katraj area, right near Bhartiya Vidya Peeth. It’s a recognizable landmark, so people usually don't have a hard time finding us once they get close. We work in the packaging technology field, which basically means we deal with machines and materials that help get products ready for the shelf. It’s a lot of technical stuff, grease on the hands, and making sure the settings on the equipment are just right. We’ve got a small team here who really understands how the gears turn. It’s not always a clean or quiet environment, but that’s the reality of working with machinery. We spend most of our mornings checking the maintenance logs and seeing what needs fixing or adjusting. Things break down occasionally, and we have to jump in and figure it out. It’s practical work. We don't go in for big corporate meetings or long presentations. Usually, we just huddle up near the workbench and decide what needs to happen next. Being near the college means there’s always energy around the neighborhood, though we’re usually too busy inside to notice much of it. We just focus on getting the packaging jobs finished so our clients can move their goods. It's steady work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening every day of the week. There is always a machine to tune or a box to test before the day is done.
