Kasturilal Harichand Ohri & Sons

We are located over at 10 Hadapsar Studio Road, right across from the SRPF Main Gate. It’s a pretty recognizable spot because of the guards and the big gate right there. Kasturilal Harichand Ohri & Sons has a long name, but we’re just a regular business doing our daily work. The road outside stays busy because of the military area and the general traffic moving through Hadapsar. Sometimes you hear the whistles or the marching from across the street if the wind is right. Our building is sturdy and has been around for a while. We don’t have any modern glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just solid walls and wooden desks. There is a lot of history in a name like ours, but we don’t spend much time talking about it. We just focus on what needs to be done today. The office gets a bit dusty because of the road, so we are always wiping down the surfaces. We have a small area in the back where we keep our supplies. It’s not a place for showing off. We know our neighbors and they know us. Most days are just about arriving on time, checking the mail, and dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a quiet kind of busy, if that makes sense. We just keep our heads down and work until the sun goes down and we can go home.
