Our office for Kangralkar Buildcon Pvt Ltd is tucked into the Khinvsara Compound over in Ramnagar, Chinchwad. Being in Pune 19, we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial and residential growth. We spend most of our time looking at site plans and talking to supervisors. The office itself is pretty functional. We’ve got desks piled with blueprints and some samples of building materials tucked in the corners. It’s not a place designed for hosting fancy parties. It’s where we do the hard work of planning and logistics for our construction projects. Ramnagar is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the street, but we don't mind it. It’s the sound of the city moving. We have a few people on staff who handle the accounts and the government filings, which can be a real headache sometimes. Most of us are more comfortable out on a construction site than sitting behind a computer. We’ve been working in the Pune area for a good while and know the local regulations and the best places to get sand and steel. We just try to keep our heads down and get the buildings finished on time. It’s a lot of pressure, but that’s the nature of construction. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work every single day.
