Kalyaniee Cards

Our shop, Kalyaniee Cards, is located at 411 Shaniwar Peth, which is quite close to Ahilyadevi School. If you know that area, you know it can get pretty hectic when school lets out. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. Mostly we deal with wedding cards and other types of invitation printing. The shelves are stacked with different samples, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of space to put things. It’s a small place, but it works for what we do. We spend most of our mornings setting up the displays and checking the orders that came in the day before. People come in with all sorts of ideas for their cards, some simple and some with way too much text to fit. We just try to make it work on the paper they pick. Shaniwar Peth has a lot of history, and being near the school means there’s always some noise and activity outside. Sometimes the kids run past the door and it gets a bit loud, but we’re used to it. We aren't a big printing factory, just a local spot where you can sit down and look through books of card designs. It’s steady work. My cousin helps out with the typing and the machine work in the back. We don't have a fancy website or anything, just the shop here where people can walk in and talk to us directly about what they need.
