Kalyani Steels Limited

We are based on the second floor of the Swapnashilp building, over in K-6, Ganesh Nagar in the Kothrud area of Pune. It’s a decent area to work in, and being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just other buildings and traffic. The office is pretty basic and functional. We have a few rooms for the different departments and a small space where we can make some tea. It’s where we handle the administrative side of the steel company. Kothrud is always busy, so there’s a lot of life and noise around us all day. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or modern art on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning. Most of us take the local bus or drive our scooters through the Pune traffic. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day, making sure everything is tracked correctly. It gets a bit hectic around the end of the month when all the reports are due. We just try to stay focused and get through the long list of things to do. It’s a regular office with regular people. We’ve been in this Pune location for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other people in the building. It’s a steady, predictable routine for us and we just keep at it.
