We operate out of Dreams Residency, specifically in B 1/28. This is in the 411015 area of Pune, which is a bit of a residential pocket. It’s a bit unusual for a company that deals with wheels and automotive parts to be in a residency, but it works for our administrative needs. The atmosphere is pretty quiet compared to the main industrial zones. We have neighbors living right next door, so we try to keep the noise down and just go about our business. The office is basically a converted apartment. It’s got a kitchen where we make our own tea and a small balcony where someone is usually taking a phone call. We spend most of our time coordinating with the factories and making sure the supply chain is moving. It’s not a place where we have big machines; it’s all about the logistics and the back-end support. The commute here isn't too bad if you beat the morning rush, but Pune traffic is always a gamble. We’ve got a small, tight-knit group here. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a very grounded way to work. There are no corporate slogans on the walls or big mission statements in the lobby. We just have our desks, our files, and the daily tasks that need to get done before we head home to our own families in the evening. It is a steady way to live.
