We’ve been here at 8, Palak Society in Chinchwad for a while now. It’s part of the Mahavir Park area in Mohannagar. Most people around here know that Chinchwad is a busy spot for all kinds of industrial work. We deal with special steels here at Kalyani Carpenter. It’s not just regular metal you find at a hardware shop; it’s the kind of stuff that needs very specific handling and knowledge. Our office is based in Pune, 411019. Usually, the day starts early for us, checking what needs to go out and what’s coming in from the plant. It gets pretty noisy around this part of town with all the traffic, but that’s just how it is. We handle a lot of different orders. Sometimes it’s a big batch for a major project, and sometimes it’s something much smaller. We don’t really do fancy talk or big presentations here. We just make sure the steel gets to where it needs to go on time. The people in the office are mostly locals. We know the roads and the shortcuts well. Being in Mohannagar, we are right in the middle of everything. We have seen the area change a lot over the years. There are more buildings and more people now. But the work stays the same for us. We focus on the special steel side of things because it takes a bit of technical skill to get it right. We don’t have a marketing team. It’s just us.
