Kalpataru Ltd. is located right here in Pune. We do not have a flashy office in one of those new IT parks, but we make do with what we have. Most of us grew up in or around this city, so we know our way around the traffic and the changing weather. The office is just a place where we gather every morning to get things done. It has got everything we need—desks, a few computers, and a small area where we have our lunch. The windows let in some light, but mostly we are focused on the tasks sitting in front of us. We aren't doing anything fancy; it is just the usual work that keeps a business like ours going. People drop by sometimes to drop off documents or just to have a quick chat about ongoing projects. We keep a low profile for the most part. The team is small, which is how we like it because everyone knows everyone else’s name. We have our fair share of slow days and very busy days. Monday mornings are always a bit of a scramble, but by Wednesday, we usually find our rhythm. Pune is a great place to be, even with the traffic getting worse every single year. We enjoy working here and being part of the local scene. It is a straightforward setup. No big speeches or complicated rules, just a bunch of folks working hard to finish their daily to-do lists. We have been operating in Pune for years and plan to stay here for a lot longer.
