K B Motors

The shop at Ganeshmala 251 is always noisy with the sound of wrenches and engines idling. We started K B Motors because we liked working on cars, and it just stayed that way for us. There is always a thin layer of oil on the floor no matter how much we scrub it at night. Most days start with checking what came in the night before. We have a few lifts and a lot of tools scattered around the workbenches. It’s not a clean showroom environment; it’s a working garage. We spend a lot of time under hoods or squeezed under chassis. Sometimes we get a car that has a problem nobody can figure out, and we end up staying late just staring at the parts. We don't use a lot of fancy computer systems for everything, mostly just our hands and what we've learned over the years. The tea stall next door is where we take our breaks when the heat gets too much for us. Customers usually just drop their keys off and tell us what’s wrong with the noise. We try to get things fixed so they can get back to their work. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always grease under our fingernails. K B Motors is just a local place where we fix engines and talk about cars. We don't do much marketing because the work usually speaks for itself in the neighborhood and people keep coming back.
