Our office is right here in Shivaji Nagar, not far from the Geeta Mandir. It’s number 62 on the street. It’s a busy area with plenty of noise from the road, but once you step inside, it’s a bit calmer. There are a few of us working here as associates, so the room is often filled with the sound of people talking over plans or typing away. We have a couple of big desks that are almost always covered in paper and blueprints. It feels like every time we clear a space, a new stack of documents appears from somewhere. The building itself has some character, even if the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days. We’ve got a window that looks out towards the main road, and it’s a good spot to watch the traffic when you need a short break from the computer screen. Most of the people who drop by are folks from around the neighborhood or regular clients we’ve known for years. We don't really go in for a lot of bells and whistles here. It's just a place where we sit down and get the drafting done. Sometimes we all go out for a quick lunch at the place down the road, then it’s right back to the drawings. It is a steady rhythm that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is just a walk away.
