Juzer Karachiwala Interior & Architect Firm

We are based in Bhawani Peth, at the address A/113/384. It’s a lively part of the city, and our office sits right in the thick of it. The firm is a mix of architecture and interior work, so we are always juggling different types of tasks. Juzer is usually busy coordinating between the site workers and the drawing board. The office is fairly compact, so we have to be organized, though it doesn't always look that way when a big project is in the middle of its design phase. You’ll find folders stacked up on every available surface and a lot of different pens scattered around. We have a small window that doesn't let in much light, so we keep the desk lamps on all day. It’s a very hands-on environment. We aren't just sitting behind computers; we’re often looking at physical samples of stone or wood and trying to see how they’ll look under different lights. The building we are in is an older one, so the walls have some cracks and the doors sometimes stick when it's humid outside. But it's a good place to work and we’ve been here long enough that all the local shopkeepers know us. We just focus on getting the drawings done and making sure the measurements are accurate for whatever job we’re on. It keeps us busy and the days go by pretty fast.
