Jitendra Lamba Architect

I have my architecture practice set up at Natasha Hill View. It is unit E-002 right on Nibm Road in Kondhwa Khurd. It is a quiet enough spot most days, although the road outside can get quite loud with the traffic. I have been working as an architect for a long time now. My office is full of old blueprints and rolls of tracing paper. I still like to use my hands for drawing even though everything is moving to computers now. I usually have a couple of people helping me with the drawings and the site visits. We spend a lot of time talking to people about what they want to build. Sometimes their dreams are a bit too big for their budget, so I have to be the one to tell them that. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking. I like the morning light in this office. It makes it easier to focus before the phone starts ringing. We don't do any big advertising. People usually find me because they saw a house I worked on nearby. I know the local building rules pretty well, which helps avoid some headaches later on. I try to stay organized but there are always piles of folders on every chair. If you are looking for me, I am usually here from Monday to Friday, unless I am out checking on a foundation. It gets a bit lonely sometimes but I enjoy the quiet.
