Jikoni Foundation

Jikoni Foundation is located over in Pune City, specifically at Survey Number 39/1. We have Office Number 22, which is part of the Ganesh Nagar Cooperative Housing Society. It is one of those typical Pune buildings where there is always something happening. You might hear someone’s scooter starting up downstairs or neighbors chatting in the hallways while we are trying to get through our paperwork. The office itself is a practical space. We have a few chairs that don't quite match and a desk that has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for our daily tasks. Finding the society isn’t too hard once you get into the Ganesh Nagar area, but Office 22 is tucked away a bit. We spend most of our mornings answering calls and just keeping things moving along. There is usually a stray cat or two hanging around the entrance of the housing society, and the security guard knows us all by name. It is not the kind of place with a glass front or a big lobby. It is just a workspace in a residential area. Sometimes the afternoon sun hits the windows directly, and we have to pull the curtains shut to see our computer screens. We keep a stash of tea bags and some sugar in the drawer for when the 4 PM slump hits. It’s a quiet, steady kind of place where we just handle our business without much fuss.
