Jhep Foundation

Jhep Foundation is located over in Viman Ngr, specifically in the C Wing of the Oakwoodsnr Ganga Humlet building. If you know the area, it is right there at flat 703. Most days, it is pretty quiet in the hallway until everyone gets in around nine. We have a few desks set up and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. The view from the window looks out over some of the newer construction nearby, and sometimes the dust gets everywhere if we leave the windows open. It is just a small team of us here. We usually grab tea from the stall down the road because the kettle in the office is broken. It has been like that for months and nobody has bothered to fix it yet. We spend most of the morning going through paperwork and answering the phone when it rings. It is not a fancy setup by any means. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the elevator in C wing takes a while, so we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. Being in Viman Nagar is convenient because most things are within walking distance, even if the traffic gets a bit much during the evenings. We just keep things moving one day at a time here at the foundation. It is a practical space for practical work.
