Jhagadia Copper Ltd has a presence in Pune as well, specifically in the Swargate area. If you know Pune, you know Swargate is a major hub and it’s always crowded and moving. Our office is right in the middle of all that Maharashtra energy. It’s quite a shift from our Gujarat locations. We deal with the copper trade and management from this urban spot. The building we are in is surrounded by shops and bus stops, so the noise is constant. We’ve grown used to the sound of horns and people shouting throughout the day. Inside, it’s a bit more peaceful than the street. We have our files, our computers, and a small area for guests to sit, though we don't get many visitors who aren't on business. The team here is small but we stay on top of the work. Pune is a fast city, and we try to keep up with the pace. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just have a calendar and a clock. Most of our work is done on the phone or through the internet these days. It’s a practical office for a practical company. We don't try to be something we aren't. We’re just here in Swargate, doing the work that keeps the company moving forward. It’s been our home in Pune for a while and it suits our needs perfectly. We stay busy and we keep the copper moving along.
