Jcb Design Centre

Jcb Design Centre is over in Pune. We’ve been set up here for a while, working out of a space that fits what we need. Pune is a busy city, and being here keeps us on our toes. We aren’t a big, cold corporation. It’s more like a group of people who are just good at what they do. Our space isn't perfectly decorated or anything. There are sketches and notes all over the place, which is just how we work. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s where the ideas come from. We don’t spend our time writing fancy mission statements or things like that. We just show up, have some tea, and get to work on whatever is on the table that day. The city has a lot of energy, and we try to bring that into the office. It’s a simple setup. We have our computers and our drafting tables, and that’s about it. We like it that way because it keeps things focused. We don’t have a lot of middle management or long, boring meetings. If we need to talk about a design, we just walk over to each other’s desks. It’s more personal. Being in Pune means we’re surrounded by other people doing similar things, which is nice. We just stay in our lane, do our work, and try to make things that actually function well.
