Jayant Motors

We’ve been here at Swargate for a while now, right across from the City Pride on Satara Road. Most days it’s pretty loud outside with all the buses and people heading towards the theater. Jayant Motors is just a small spot, nothing fancy or shiny. We spend most of our time dealing with engines and whatever problems show up that day. Sometimes it gets busy and there’s a line of vehicles out front on Moledina Road, but we just take them one by one. It's dusty work. Most of us have been working on machines since we were younger, so it’s just what we do. The shop floor is usually covered in tools and parts that we haven't put away yet. We open early when the air is still a bit cool before the afternoon sun hits the front of the shop. If you’re looking for a big office with air conditioning, this isn't the place. It's just a workshop where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the traffic on Satara Road makes it hard for people to pull in, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new buildings coming up and more cars on the road every month. It keeps us on our feet. Usually, we're here until late evening, finishing up whatever is left. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the work and stay until it is finished.
