Janiv Nisargpremi Foundation

You can find Janiv Nisargpremi Foundation over in Hadapsar at H No 4308, Lane 8. We are in the Tukai Darshan area, specifically near Sno 5. Hadapsar is a busy part of town, but our lane is a bit more tucked away. We’ve been working from this house for a while. It’s not a commercial building, just a regular home that serves as our headquarters. The name "Nisargpremi" means we love nature, and we try to bring that into everything we do here. There are a few plants on the balcony and some bird feeders too. We spend our mornings planning out our local environmental projects. It might be a small space, but we manage to get a lot done. People from the neighborhood often stop by to ask about gardening or how to handle waste. We aren't experts with fancy degrees, just people who have learned by doing. The street outside can get a bit crowded with parked bikes, so we usually walk everywhere if we can. Inside, the walls are covered with photos of the trees we’ve planted over the years. It’s a bit cramped when we have more than four people over for a meeting, but we make it work with some extra stools. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; we just work until the job is finished for the day. We have a big map of Hadapsar pinned to the wall where we mark all the spots that need more greenery.
