Jalkisaan Agro Science Private Limited

We are located in Pune, specifically over at Gadiya Estate near Nandanvan Society. This whole thing started because Nilesh Prakash Marne had some ideas about how to use science to help out with farming around here. We aren't a massive corporation, just a few people working out of a spot at Survey Number 81/6/25. It’s a bit of a mix between the city feel of Pune and the agricultural needs of the surrounding areas. We spend a lot of time looking at how water and soil work together, which is why we picked the name Jalkisaan. It’s not always easy to explain what we do to people who just want things fast, but we take our time with it. The office is tucked away and we mostly focus on the practical side of things like testing and data. We have been here for a bit now and people in the neighborhood know where to find us. It’s usually quiet except for when we have deliveries coming in or out. We handle the paperwork ourselves and try to keep things as straightforward as we can. It’s a small operation, so you’ll likely talk to the same two or three people whenever you stop by. We aren't here to promise the world, just trying to apply some better methods to the way crops are managed in our corner of 411038. It’s a learning process for us too.
