Jagmangal Social Foundation

Our office is tucked away in Kawade Nagar, over in the Pimple Gurav area of Pune. The address is S. No. 56/1/30, if you’re looking for it on a map and getting a bit lost. It’s a regular residential neighborhood, so it feels very much like home here rather than a place of business. We started Jagmangal Social Foundation because we wanted to help our neighbors and the people in the surrounding parts of Pune who are struggling. It’s not a big corporate building with a lobby, just a simple space where we can meet and talk about social issues over some snacks. We have a few desks, some old chairs, and a lot of tea being made throughout the day. People from the area often drop in to tell us about something happening on their street or a problem with the local park. We try to help where we can, whether it’s organizing a small cleanup event or just connecting people with the right resources they can't find easily. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when we have a lot of young volunteers coming through on the weekends, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We don't use big words or have complicated corporate goals. We just want to see our community doing a little bit better each day. The traffic in Pimple Gurav can be a total nightmare in the evenings, but we’re usually still here working away in the office. It’s just us, a small team.
