J F Battery

We are right near the Pandit Petrol Pump in Chinchwad. It's a handy spot for a battery shop because people are always stopping for gas and then realizing their car won't start again. J F Battery has been sitting here for quite some time now. The shop is filled with all kinds of batteries for bikes and cars and even some big ones for home power backup. It gets pretty oily and heavy in here. We spend a lot of time lifting those heavy lead blocks and testing them with the little meters. Sometimes the floor is a bit messy with cables and old casings waiting to be picked up. Being so close to the petrol pump means it’s always noisy with engines idling and people honking. We have a small bench where we sit when things are slow. Most people come in looking worried because their vehicle died, and we just try to find them what they need so they can get back on the road. Chinchwad is a busy industrial kind of area so there is always someone needing something for a truck or a van. We keep a stock of different brands on the shelves. It’s a simple setup we have here. Nothing special to look at, just a practical workshop. We open up early and usually stay late if someone is stuck. That’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with batteries.
