J Event Management

We run J Event Management out of an office on Paud Road in Pune. It’s a busy part of town, which is good for us because we’re always moving around. Our space is filled with samples of fabrics, light fixtures, and old decorations from past parties. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest, but we know where everything is. Most of our day is spent on the phone talking to decorators, caterers, and people planning weddings or birthdays. We don't really have a set schedule; if someone needs a stage set up at midnight, that’s when we go. Paud Road has plenty of shops, so we’re always running out to grab extra supplies like tape or ribbon. We aren't some big corporate agency with sleek uniforms. We’re just a small group of people who like putting things together. Sometimes things go wrong, like a flower delivery being late or a speaker not working, and we just have to figure it out on the spot. That’s just the nature of events. We have a small table where we sit with clients to look at photos and sketches on bits of paper. It’s a lot of coffee and late nights, but it works for us. We’ve been doing this in Pune for a while now, and most of our work comes from people who saw what we did for their friends. It keeps us on our toes every weekend.
