Ivrcl Infrastructures & Projects Ltd. has its setup here in Shivapuri, which is part of the Walwa area in Sangli. It is a quiet spot mostly, but the work we do keeps everyone busy throughout the week. We focus on the practical side of building things and managing the various project requirements that come our way. The office is basically a place where we handle the logistics and make sure the crews have what they need for the local sites. Being out here in the Sangli district means we deal with the weather and the local terrain every single day. It is not always easy, especially when the rains come or when it gets really hot in the summer. We have a small team on site who looks after the paperwork and the heavy equipment schedules. Usually, you will find someone drinking tea while looking over a set of prints or talking on the phone to a supplier. The walls have some old maps pinned up and there are plenty of boots by the door. We don't spend much time making the place look fancy because the real work is happening outside on the roads and the construction plots. Most of us have lived in this region for a long time, so we know the roads around Walwa like the back of our hands. It is just a regular workplace where people show up, do their shift, and try to get the infrastructure projects finished without too many delays.
