Our place is called Saptshrungi Niwas, right in Kolhar Bk in the Rahata area of Ahmednagar. It’s a bit different from being in a big city, things move at a slightly slower pace here, which we don't mind at all. We handle glass work mostly. It’s a practical business. We’ve been here for a while and most of the locals know where to find us. The building is simple, nothing too modern, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We spend a lot of time making sure the glass is handled carefully because one wrong move and you’ve got a mess on your hands. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The dust from the road sometimes gets inside, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning up. We have a small group of workers who show up every morning, have their tea, and get to work. We don't have any big corporate meetings or anything like that. Usually, it’s just a quick chat about what needs to be delivered that day. It’s a decent life here in the district. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the glass gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait it out. That’s just part of being out here. It’s just how things are for us. We keep things simple and practical.
