If you drive down the Pune Nashik Highway, you will pass right by our gate at Bhosari Survey No 451-1. It is a very loud area because of all the trucks and big heavy vehicles moving through Tapkir Nagar all day. We are part of the Warwar Mahamandal section, which stays busy from sunrise to long after dark. The dust from the road covers almost everything we own, so we have to spend time wiping down the windows at International Motor India every morning. Our place is near Dhavade Vasti, and it’s a wide open space where we keep the vehicles and all the various parts. The sun really beats down on the yard in the afternoon, making the metal almost too hot to touch. We have a small office area where we keep the paperwork and the phone, but most of the time we are outside in the heat. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving greasy items around. The highway noise is so constant that we have to yell a bit sometimes just to be heard by each other. We see a lot of different people coming through, mostly drivers who are tired from being on the road for hours. We’ve got some old chairs out front where they can sit for a minute while we work. The tap in the back corner leaks a little, but it doesn’t bother us much. We like being out here in Bhosari because there is always something moving.
