You can find us over at Ishanya Mall in the Shastri Nagar area of Yerawada. Being in a mall means our daily life is a bit different from a standard office. We’re surrounded by shops and shoppers, which keeps things interesting. Our space is tucked away in a part of the mall that handles the retail operations and management side of things. It’s a lot of inventory lists, coordination with vendors, and making sure the shelves stay stocked. The mall architecture is pretty unique, with a lot of open spaces, which is nice when you need to take a quick walk to clear your head. We aren't really corporate types in the sense of wearing suits every day. Most of us are just regular people who know a lot about how retail works. The back office is usually a bit messy with boxes and promotional materials that haven't been put up yet. Yerawada is a busy part of town, so there’s always something going on nearby. We get a mix of people coming through, from regular customers to delivery drivers. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we try to keep a sense of humor about the small disasters that happen in retail. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just show up, handle the customers, and make sure the store is running like it should. It’s a practical, everyday kind of job.
