Indus Shipping Services operates out of Shivane in Pune. You can find us in Manohar Dangat’s building, which is on the second floor. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you look for the Navbharat School or the Ganesh Temple right next door. Having the temple nearby is nice; it gives the area a good feeling. Our work is all about shipping. We spend the day dealing with various containers and local transport issues. Pune has grown so much lately, so the traffic around Shivane can be a bit of a mess during peak hours. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and making calls to the ports. We have a few desks and a lot of paper stacked up. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls; it’s a working space where real stuff happens. We know the local drivers and the shopkeepers around the building. Sometimes we have to stay late to catch up on emails or wait for a shipment confirmation from a different time zone. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just focus on getting the shipping documents sorted and making sure the cargo doesn't sit idle for too long.
