Our small foundry business is tucked away in Raviwar Peth in Phaltan. If you are looking for 205, it’s right in the heart of the Taluka. We’ve been working with metal and casting for a long time now. Indrayani Ferrocast isn't a massive factory with robots; it’s a place where real people work with their hands and machines to make parts that other people need. The heat from the furnace is something you get used to after a while. We produce various iron and steel items for local industries and farmers around the Satara district. It’s heavy work and it gets quite dusty in the shop. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. We have a desk in the corner where we handle the invoices and talk to customers who drop by. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for years. They tell us what they need, maybe show us a drawing, and we see if we can cast it for them. Sometimes the molds aren't perfect on the first try, so we fix them and try again until it’s right. It’s about trial and error and years of experience. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The rhythm of the workshop is what keeps us going. It’s practical, honest manufacturing without any of the fancy labels people like to use these days. We just focus on getting the weight and the metal mix right for the job.
