We are based in Aurangabad, specifically in the Sanober building on New Road. If you know where Shalimar Bakery is, we are right across from them. The smell of fresh bread and biscuits is one of the best things about working here in Manzurpura. Indo Emirates Building Systems P. Ltd. is the name we use for our operations. We focus on building systems, which involves a lot of technical drawing and planning on big tables. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old computers and a fan that makes a bit of a racket when it’s on the high setting. Maharashtra summers can be pretty brutal, so that fan is always going. We are a small team and we don't really have a boss who sits in a separate room. We all just work together in the main space. Sometimes it gets a little loud when the traffic on New Road picks up, but we just shout a bit louder. We spend a lot of time visiting sites to make sure the systems we designed are being installed the right way. It’s practical, hands-on work that keeps us on our toes. We don't have a receptionist, so we just answer the door ourselves. It’s a very informal environment, but we get the jobs done on time. That’s what matters most to us at the end of the day when we pack up our bags.
