Indira Tools Centre

Our shop is located at 257/2 on the Hinjawadi Tata Johnson Road. We’re right across from the HDFC Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us. Hinjawadi has changed so much since we first opened Indira Tools Centre. It used to be much quieter, but now there are big buildings and IT offices everywhere. We’ve stayed pretty much the same, though. We sell and fix tools. It’s a lot of wrenches, drills, and specialized equipment that the technicians around here need. The shop is full of boxes and shelves. Sometimes it feels like we are running out of room, but we always manage to squeeze in new stock when it arrives. We aren't polished sales people. We just know our tools. If someone comes in asking for something specific, we usually know exactly which pile or shelf it’s on. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about their projects and what they are building. It’s probably the best part of the day, really. The road outside is always packed with cars and buses now. It can be noisy, but we don’t mind it much. We just keep the door open to let some air in during the afternoon. We don't have any big missions or corporate goals. We just want to make sure that when someone buys a tool from us, it actually does what it’s supposed to do. It’s a simple way to run a local shop.
