Impression Printing & Signages

Down in Nana Peth, you’ll find Impression Printing & Signages at Plot No. 5. We’re pretty close to Ramoshi Gate, so there’s always something happening nearby. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but you get used to it after a few years. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with scraps of paper and bits of vinyl everywhere. We don’t spend much time cleaning up for show because there’s always another job waiting. When the machines are running, it gets quite loud inside. Sometimes the ink gets on my clothes and it’s hard to get out, but that’s part of the trade. People find us because they know this corner of the street well. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. It’s just a counter and the workspace in the back. Often, customers just stand around while we finish things up. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much, but we keep the fans going. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot. We don't worry about being the biggest shop on the block. We just focus on what’s on the table right now. If someone needs something printed or a sign made, they walk in and we talk about it. No big fuss or complicated processes. We just do the work as it comes and try to get it right.
