Imperial Auto Industries Limited is located at Gat Number 227 in Nanekarwadi, which is part of the Chakan area in the Khed taluka of Pune. If you know Chakan, you know it’s a massive hub for anything related to vehicles and manufacturing. Our place is right in the middle of all that action. The road to Nanekarwadi can be a bit bumpy and the traffic is usually heavy with trailers, but once you get to our gate, it’s all about the work inside. We have a large facility here, but it doesn't feel like a cold corporate office. It feels like a big workshop where people are actually making things. There is always the sound of metal moving and the steady rhythm of the machines. We spend a lot of time out on the floor, checking on the production lines and talking to the guys who handle the equipment. It’s a hot and busy environment, especially during the monsoon when the rain hammers down on the metal roofs, making it hard to hear anything else. We don’t put on any acts here; we’re just a bunch of people trying to do a solid job in a very busy part of the country. We know that the parts we make end up in vehicles all over, and that keeps us focused, even when the days are long and the Pune sun is beating down on the yard.
