Ici India Ltd. - Paints

We are over in Pune, specifically in the Anandnagar area. Our office is part of the Anandshree Apartments on Sinhagadh Road. We are in Flat A 14. This is where we handle the Ici India Ltd. paints side of things. Sinhagadh Road is always busy, so there is a lot of energy around the building. Being in an apartment makes it feel a bit more personal than being in a glass tower downtown. We have some samples and catalogs laid out on the tables for whenever anyone drops by to ask questions about colors. The parking can be a bit of a headache during peak hours, but that’s just Pune for you. We are a small group of people who just enjoy what we do. There is no fancy lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. There is a small bakery around the corner that smells like fresh bread every morning. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when new shipments of marketing materials come in, but we clear it out pretty fast. We’ve stayed in this flat for a long time because it’s convenient for our regular clients in this part of town. It’s a practical way to run a business without spending money on things that don't matter.
